Re: Anyone have experience with Pro Machinery auctions?
Hi everyone. I'm looking at a repo'd bulldozer on the Pro Machinery site. The prices seem almost too good to be true. I've never gone through an online auction for equipment this big before and am a bit hesitant. Are they a legitimate company? Worried about the process, especially getting a clean title.

I've used ProMachinery twice. Once for a Kubota tractor and once for a trailer. Both times the process was straightforward and the equipment was exactly as described in their reports. I wouldn't hesitate.

DirtMover82, I had the same concern as you about the title when I was bidding on a 2021 CAT excavator. No issues at all. Pro Machinery handled all the bank paperwork. The clear title arrived with the excavator during delivery. Huge relief and made the whole thing stress-free.

Re: Anyone have experience with Pro Machinery auctions?
My experience was good overall. The only hiccup was that the delivery of my skid steer was delayed by two days. The driver got held up. But the dispatch from Pro Machinery called me to let me know, so the communication was good. The machine itself was in great shape.

That's pretty standard for freight hauling these days, JakeT_94. I'd rather have the communication than be left wondering. Glad it worked out!

Re: Anyone have experience with Pro Machinery auctions?
The best part about using promachinery.com for me was the title process. I bought a crane that was a bank repo and was worried about liens. I didn't have to do anything. The title was cleared by the bank right after my payment went through. It was all handled by ProMachinery and arrived perfectly with all the official paperwork.

They're a legitimate repossessed utility vehicle auction dealer. Make sure you read the inspection reports on the promachinery website carefully. I find them to be very accurate and they don't hide things. Do your homework and you can get a great deal.

Re: Anyone have experience with Pro Machinery auctions?
I had a question about the bidding process and it took them a day or so to reply to my email at office@promachinery.com. I was getting a little antsy, but the agent who called me back was super helpful and walked me through everything. I ended up winning a great little telehandler.

Re: Anyone have experience with Pro Machinery auctions?
A friend of mine bought a John Deere tractor from a Pro Machinery auction. He asked me to give it a once-over when it arrived. I'm a mechanic by trade. The machine was solid. Engine hours matched the listing, no leaks, exactly as described in the report on their site. He's very happy with it.

Re: Anyone have experience with Pro Machinery auctions?
I found a minor cosmetic scratch on the loader arm of the tractor I bought that wasn't obvious in the site photos. A little annoying at first, but for the thousands I saved compared to a dealer, I can live with a scratch. Mechanically, the machine is perfect. I'd definitely buy from ProMachinery again.

Re: Anyone have experience with Pro Machinery auctions?
They're one of the better repo auction houses out there. The fact that its mostly bank-owned stuff means the history is usually clear. promachinery.com is a solid place to look for equipment.
